FAQ
Here to answer all your questions!
How is PALS different from other learning centers?
Basic tutoring merely provides “educational bandages” to help children. Most learning centers focus on repetition and don’t help students with what’s being taught in schools. PALS recognizes that every student is unique and provides personalized, adaptive learning to ensure success for every student. PALS’ curriculum is common core aligned, reflecting what’s currently being taught in schools.
How quickly will my child learn at PALS?
The PALS System is meant to help each student whether they’re behind in school or looking to get ahead. Because each student will have a unique starting point, their learning pace of growth will be different. We will administer an initial assessment to determine this starting point and weekly interim tests to measure progress and development.
How can I be sure that my child gets enough attention in a group setting?
Our center offers instruction at a ratio of up to five students to one teacher. This set up allows each child to enjoy a classroom-like atmosphere by being near other students but still receive individual attention from their teacher. Our highly qualified teacher will manage children in a group setting and work with each child individually.
How much do you charge, and how many days a week does my child have to attend?
We require that each student attends a minimum of two hours every week. Pricing depends on the hours enrolled and the length of enrollment. You can check out our multi-month discount.
Are classes held in person or virtually?
We currently offer in-person and virtual learning, depending on the needs of your child.
What safety measures have you taken due to COVID-19?
PALS has remained open throughout the COVID-19 crisis, and we have gained valuable experience in how to successfully manage our center and keep kids safe during this unprecedented time. While we love teaching and enriching your kids, we understand that our primary responsibility is to keep your kids SAFE! PALS is a trusted environment for your children as we monitor and follow the daily guidance provided by the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), our local Health Departments, and our Licensing Agencies. Our staff is trained and experts remaining committed to giving your family a SAFE place for your children to laugh, learn, and grow at PALS.
